Bossa Nova

Bossa nova is a sub-genre of Brazilian music that took the world by storm in the 1950s and 1960s and helped bright attention to other latin styles and genres. Today, it is an international genre that inspires and influence popular music.  

Bossa nova means "new trend" in Portuguese.
